SAGES GO TO COP28: UNICEF Innovation 30 Campaign

Updated: Dec 13, 2023

UNICEF and global accelerators have carefully curated a pipeline of transformative climate solutions by young people under 30, and we're thrilled to share that SAGES has been chosen as one of the 24 global innovators in the Innovation30 program. (I turned 30 this year so I just sneak into the category!)

For decades, young minds have been reshaping the tech industry's boundaries with grit, creativity, and ingenuity.  Research consistently highlights  the success of companies founded by young entrepreneurs in their thirties who nurtured and refined their ideas in their twenties and even earlier. Yet, funding streams often lag behind this reality.

UNICEF is urgently calling for increased funding to support transformative climate solutions by young innovators, essential in mitigating the climate crisis we face.

As part of Innovation30, SAGES is featured in a four-part series and showcased at COP28. This showcase is in the form of a hologram so anyone who was there will have been able to see me raising awareness about the damages of synthetic dyes!
